I am a big fan of the Myers Briggs personality tests.  What do you find are the major flaws?  Are there any better tests?

After getting familiar with how accurate they are, I can't believe more of these exams aren't used for employment and relationship counseling, in reason of course.

Is there any real evidence that the earth naturaly creates oil?  Or is it really all just plants from millions of years ago.

How are we doing with these?  Aren't we supposed to be able to make the most awesome body parts with these? Skin, bones, tendons even blood vessels  that never tear?

Do they still teach the standard model in school?  It seems to me there is more exceptions then rules with chemistry.

I don't think we really know.  Who even knows if we truly know that the earth is 5b years.  Life may have been wiped out several times and came back.

Total huberus on both sides to claim victory.  I'm assuming you're talking about the intelligent design crowd

I used to make descriptions of of a time series of events with a model of a sign wave or bell curve.  That is what you are trained to do in finance.  How ever the older I get the more I start to see two things.

The tails and outliers on such description are fatter or they adhere to fat tail theory.  The closer one gets to closer to an extreme event the probability expands exponentially.

Or scraping that, phenomena is better described by tangent equations then bell curves.  Extreme events and observations occur all the time and are statisitcy improbable but they do happen all the time.

Anyone see this too?
