Many people aren't as social as they used to be because of all the time that we spend working on our computers. The internet has enabled many to work from home, eliminating much of their social time. What kind of changes do you think this will cause in our future society?

Working from home has actually increased my social time. I have sat in a cubicle, worked in a warehouse driving forklifts, sorted mail for USPS and waited tables. The only job where I socialized more was waiting tables. Usual after getting off of work, driving home and winding down, I just don't want to go out. However, after sitting at home all day, I can't wait to get out and hang out with friends and meet new people.
If it is true that people are becoming less social, I would think that there would be other causes. In the past I have devoted a ridiculous amount of time to playing video games. MMORPGs suck up much of the time of many young people. There is a really good documentary on this called "Second Skin." It explains the calling of these online worlds and is really well done.
