I have recently heard of a new topical ointment that is supposed to help with pain. It works by preventing the pain signal from traveling through the nerve ending to the brain. It is over the counter and they advertise it as being "natural" and 100% "safe". They say that you can use it for anything from migraines to joint pain and that one treatment can last up to a month. I am thinking that if you remove the element of pain from one's body, then the patient may never know if something is really wrong. Thoughts?
